With
increased use of biologic therapies for Crohn’s disease, the surgical therapy
is also evolving. This webinar will explore perioperative optimization,
surgical approaches and innovative interventional endoscopic interventions as
well.
At
the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Learn about nutritional
optimization before surgery, perioperative management of biologic and
steroid therapy to improve patient outcomes.
- Understand the indications for
surgery and when to offer different surgical approaches.
- Learn about different endoscopic
options for Crohn’s complications and when to recommend this approach.
